At Jotsna Samaj Kalayan Sangstha (JSKS), we are driven by a deep commitment to social justice, equity, and sustainable development. Our vision, mission, goals, and objectives reflect our unwavering dedication to empowering marginalized communities, especially women and children, through inclusive, participatory, and rights-based approaches. These guiding principles serve as the foundation for every initiative we undertake, helping us move closer to building a just, peaceful, and prosperous society for all.

Vision of JSKS:

JSKS envisages such a society where every human being, irrespective of caste, creed & religion can enjoy the sanctity of lives with self-sufficiency. A society where there remains good governance , democratic values, peace, harmony, patience, freedom, dignity, equality, happiness and secularism which are free from exploitation, oppression, hunger, fundamentalism, malpractice, backwardness and heinous activities.

Mission of JSKS:

Mobilization of local and available resources.
Empowering the marginalized and powerless women by ensuring their participation in development activities, particularly in the decision making process.
Awareness creation through motivation, seminar, workshop, orientation, dialogue session and training.
Ensuring human and fundamental rights of the distressed and oppressed target people.
Building up leadership capabilities of the women beneficiaries through a planned process.
Encourage the marginalized women to access the local and public resources.
Acting as a catalyst in bringing significant changes to the lives of the beneficiaries.

Goal of JSKS:

Empowering and transforming the socioeconomic condition of the marginalized and poor communities in the process of Good Governance towards an improved socioeconomic gender balanced just society.

Objectives of JSKS:

To mobilize the target people for institution building to raise their collective voice against violence and establish their rights.
To make aware the target people on human & women rights, women empowerment, fundamental rights and child rights.
To make aware the target people on human & women rights, women empowerment, fundamental rights and child rights.
To make aware the target people on local and public resources and encourage them to access these
To make proactive the target people, particularly the women about their socioeconomic development.
To improve the economic condition of the target people through job creation and alternative income generations.
To create employment and income earning opportunities by enhancing skill and capacity of the target people through professional skill development training.
To pay special attention to the grassroots marginalized people, particularly the women, adolescents and youth members through appropriate education, training and orientation.
To drive away the exploitation, oppression and superstition by raising self-awareness among all the people of our target groups and collective actions.
To make aware the community people on organic agriculture and homestead gardening, using of natural fertilizer, integrated farming
To make aware the community people on Nature conservation and afforestation to prevent climate change.
To make aware and activate the community of people on disaster prepared and management.
To serve the victims and affected people through emergency relief and rehabilitation program.
